In this class, we'll cover the basics of Excel and get you started on your journey towards mastering this powerful spreadsheet software.

First things first, 

let's take a look at the Excel interface. When you first open Excel, you'll see a blank workbook with a grid of cells. This is where you'll enter your data and perform calculations. At the top of the screen, you'll see the ribbon, which contains a variety of tabs and commands for formatting and editing your spreadsheet.

Now, let's start entering some data. Click on cell A1 and type "Name" to create a header for your first column. Next, click on cell B1 and type "Age" to create a header for your second column. In cells A2 and B2, enter some sample data. You should now have a simple table that looks like this:

Congratulations, you've just entered your first data into Excel!

Finally, let's save our workbook. Click on the File tab at the top left corner of the screen, then click on Save As. Choose a location and a name for your file, and click Save.
